Three causses, three valleys, one finish in Millau

HOKA Les Templiers brings eighteen events to Millau and the Grands Causses from 15 to 18 October 2026, from the children’s Kinder Trail to the 100.5 km Endurance Trail.

The races cross the limestone plateaus around Millau, the Causse Noir, the Causse Méjean and the Larzac, and the gorges cut into them by the Tarn, the Jonte and the Dourbie. Friday belongs to the long crossings: the Endurance Trail (100.5 km, 4,075 m of climb) from Millau at 04:00, the Rock’Voizine (50.5 km) from Saint-André-de-Vézines, the Intégrale des Causses (60.1 km) from Peyreleau and the Marathon du Larzac (33.5 km) from the hamlet of La Salvage. Saturday brings the Boffi Fifty, the Dourbie Formi from the Roman pottery site of La Graufesenque, the Monna Lisa Trail and the Marathon des Causses. Sunday is the Grand Trail des Templiers: 80 km and 3,497 m for 2,500 runners, starting in the dark at 05:10.

The Grand Trail is where it began. The organiser’s history dates the first edition to 1995, when Patrick Renard won and the finish stood on the small square of Sainte-Eulalie-de-Cernon, facing the Templar commandery. Today most of the courses come back over the Causse Noir to the rocky spur of the Pouncho d’Agast above Millau, then drop through the Grotte du Hibou into town. Bibs for every race are collected at the Salon du Trail.

The organiser’s live timing runs on LiveTrail. On Livebib a runner can share a link to their own broadcast, and family and friends open it in a browser with no account and no app: the position on the course line, the distance covered and a finish estimate for Millau. On point-to-point courses that start in Peyreleau, La Salvage or Saint-André-de-Vézines, that is what tells supporters when to leave for the finish. If the phone loses signal, the position is carried forward along the course and marked as estimated.
