Plogging
Plogging, live on the map
Plogging is picking up litter while you jog or walk. The word joins the Swedish plocka upp, to pick up, and jogga, to jog. It started in Stockholm in 2016, when Erik Ahlström began picking up rubbish on his runs, and today people plog all over the world, on their own and in groups.
Share the round while you plog
With Livebib you broadcast your round live from your phone. Whoever you send the link to can follow you on the map, in 2D or 3D, straight in their browser, with no account and no app. Nothing to win and no time to beat: just the round, while it happens.
Plogging as a group?
Then each of you broadcasts your own round. Whoever stayed at home can see where the group has got to, and whoever turns up late can see which way you went.
Where you live stays hidden
Plenty of people plog straight from their front door. Put a privacy zone around your home, and that part of the round is hidden from everyone but you.
Watch the round again
When you finish, the round stays. You can play it back in 3D and show it to anyone who wonders where all those bags came from.
Tell us how you plog
If you plog regularly with a group, we would love to hear how you do it. Write to hello@livebib.com.
