Feltre's gran fondo over the passes of the Belluno Dolomites

The Sportful Dolomiti Race is a road gran fondo from Feltre into the Dolomites, organised by the cycling club Pedale Feltrino.

The 32nd edition is on Sunday 20 June 2027. Both routes start together at 7:00 from via Campogiorgio in Feltre and finish in Piazza Maggiore, in the historic heart of the town. The start grids open at 5:30, and riders choose their route at the split after the climb of Forcella Franche.

The Gran Fondo covers 204 km and 4,900 m of climbing. After Forcella Franche it continues through Agordo, Alleghe and Selva di Cadore to Passo Staulanza, then over Passo Duran, Forcella Aurine and Passo Cereda before the last pass, Croce d'Aune, where the route goes past the monument to Tullio Campagnolo. The Medio Fondo covers 125 km and 2,600 m and joins the same finale over Forcella Aurine, Passo Cereda and Croce d'Aune. Both end with the last 450 m climbing up via Mezzaterra into Feltre.

The overall time limit is 12 hours 30 minutes, so riders must finish by 19:30, with time gates at Le Miotte at 10:15 and Agordo at 14:30. Riders who miss a gate can ride on as normal road users or take the broom wagon back to Feltre. Mechanical support points are set up at Tiser, Dont, Cencenighe and Mezzano.

The event goes back to 1995, when Pedale Feltrino held the first Gran Fondo Internazionale Campagnolo. It became the Gran Fondo Sportful in 2009 and later took its present name because most of the route crosses the Dolomites UNESCO site. Spectators can see the start and the finish in the centre of Feltre.

On Livebib you can follow a cyclist who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, and the official results come from the organiser.
