Eurospin Verona Run Marathon, live.

Twenty five years of running past the Arena

The 25th Eurospin Verona Run Marathon takes place on Sunday 15 November 2026, with a marathon and a half marathon that finish in Piazza Bra beside the Arena.

The race is organised by G.A.A.C. 2007 Veronamarathon ASD together with the City of Verona, and 2026 marks its 25th anniversary. The half marathon is in its 13th edition. Both courses are certified by World Athletics, and the organiser gives an average November temperature of 9°C.

The half marathon starts first, at 08:00, and the marathon follows at 09:00. Both start on Corso Porta Nuova, a few steps from Piazza Bra, and finish in Piazza Bra by the Arena. The marathon has a time limit of 6 hours and the half marathon 3 hours. Start pens are printed on each bib, and the expo is at the PalaOlimpia Forum.

The organiser describes a route through the history of Verona: San Fermo Maggiore, Piazza delle Erbe on the site of the Roman forum, the city's bridges and monumental gates, Castelvecchio and the Arco dei Gavi. For the anniversary the half marathon passes through the Caserma G. Duca, while the marathon goes on to the Chievo dam and Parona before coming back to the centre. The marathon is open from age 20 and the half from 18 for federation members, with a non competitive option for people without an Italian licence.

Spectators have the start and finish within a short walk of each other around Piazza Bra, and the centre is full of places to cheer as the route crosses the city's bridges. The race suits a late season marathon or a city half with plenty of sights.

On Livebib you can follow a participant who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, so the dot on the map is only as good as that phone and its signal. Official results and split times come from the organiser.
