The organiser lists the 58K at 59 km with 1,800 m of climbing, which it also gives as 5,800 ft, and a maximum race time of 12 hours. It describes the course as tough but runnable: sagebrush slopes, stands of aspen and fir, and long views over Ogden and out to the Great Salt Lake. The race starts and finishes at the resort and carries two UTMB Running Stones.

The GPX and aid station chart on the race page are from the 2026 edition, and the organiser says both may change for 2027. Check the latest chart before planning a crew or a drop bag. It also notes that a watch can read up to about a mile over or under the official distance. The Friday 28K uses the same start area, and a 58K finish together with a Speedgoat finish in the same year counts toward the Wasatch Challenge.

For a 12-hour limit, the useful number at home is not the start time but the expected finish. On Livebib the runner shares their own broadcast link. Anyone with it opens it in a browser and sees the runner’s position on the course line, distance covered, and a finish estimate that updates as the race goes. When the phone loses signal on the mountain, the position is carried forward along the course and marked as estimated, never shown as measured.
