The organiser lists the race at 29 km and 800 m of climbing, which the course description gives as over 2,400 ft, with a maximum race time of 7 hours. The loop circles the resort on singletrack, through forest and mountain meadow, with the craggy Wasatch peaks around it. It starts and finishes at the resort, so friends can wait at the finish line without moving the car.

This is the shorter of Snowbasin’s two races, with less than half the distance and climbing of the 58K and a 7-hour limit instead of 12. The GPX and aid station chart on the race page are from 2026 and may change for 2027, and the organiser warns that a watch can read up to about a mile off the official distance. The 58K follows on Saturday from the same start area.

A loop around the resort means family at the base only see the runner leave and come home. On Livebib the runner shares a link to their own broadcast, which opens in any browser with no account. It shows position on the course line, distance covered and a finish estimate that updates as the race goes. Where the phone loses signal under the trees, the position is carried forward along the course and marked as estimated.
