The Marcialonga gran fondo over the Dolomite passes

Marcialonga Cycling Craft is the road gran fondo of the Fiemme and Fassa valleys, run by the same organisation as the Marcialonga ski race.

The 19th edition is on Sunday 30 May 2027, with Predazzo as the base. Riders choose their route during the race: the Mediofondo of 80 km or the Granfondo of 135 km with 3,900 m of climbing. On Saturday 29 May the weekend also has the Marcialonga Bike Experience for gravel, e-bike and mountain bikes, and the Minicycling for children.

The organiser names the passes on the menu: Passo Costalunga and the Lago di Carezza, Passo Pampeago with the Latemar behind it, Passo San Pellegrino and Passo Valles, and the Paneveggio nature park. The route stays in the valleys of Fiemme and Fassa and also crosses into Alto Adige and into the province of Belluno. On the 2026 route the split came near Predazzo, after Costalunga and Pampeago, with the long route going on over San Pellegrino and Valles.

It is a road event for cyclists who are comfortable with long Alpine climbs and fast, technical descents. Riders must be at least 19. Italian riders need an ACSI licence or a one day card with a medical certificate for competitive cycling, foreign riders a UCI licence from their own federation or the one day card. Leisure riders without a club may ride the Mediofondo route only, with a competitive medical certificate.

Entry covers the race pack, feed stations, medical and mechanical support on the course, and at the finish a refreshment point, guarded bike park, pasta party, massage, showers and a finisher medal. The race also counts towards the Marcialonga Superstar Club with the ski and running races.

On Livebib you can follow a cyclist who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, and the official results come from the organiser.
