Girona's gravel weekend, 100, 200 or 300 km

The Traka is a gravel festival in Girona with three race distances, all starting from the venue at Parc Ribes del Ter.

The Traka started in Catalonia as a celebration of community, wild landscapes and inclusivity, and it has since grown into a global gravel movement. The 2027 edition runs from 30 April to 2 May in Girona, and registration is open.

The longest race is the Traka 300 on Saturday 1 May, 300 km with about 4,150 m of positive elevation gain. The professional men start at 05:50, the professional women at 06:00 and the open field from 06:10. The pro category is only offered on the 300. The program also lists the Traka 200, starting from 07:00, and the Traka 100, from 08:15. All three start from the venue at Parc Ribes del Ter.

The organiser puts the 300 at 80 percent unpaved, with an accumulated elevation gain of 8,300 m and a high point of 420 m. The cut off is 20 hours. The organiser expects the first man after about nine and a half hours and the first woman after about 11, and the finish stays open from 15:10 on Saturday until 02:10 on Sunday.

The venue at Parc Ribes del Ter holds the starts, the finish and the program around the races, and the organiser streams the Traka 300 from 10:00 to 18:30 on race day. The organiser notes that the 300 figures are still to be confirmed, so check the final course before race day.
