Generali Maratón de Málaga, live.

Marathon and half marathon from Paseo del Parque

The Generali Maratón de Málaga brings a marathon and a half marathon to the streets of Málaga on one Sunday morning in November.

The next edition is on Sunday 8 November 2026, with the start at 8:30. The race is organised by LASTLAP, and on the same morning there is a marathon over 42.195 km and a half marathon over 21,095 metres. The weekend also includes a Brunch Run, a kids race and the You Rock Málaga programme around the main event.

Both distances start on Paseo del Parque, opposite the Rectorate of the University of Málaga. The organiser has redesigned the routes to be faster and flatter, with fewer turns. The course maps for the 42K and the 21K are on the race website.

The marathon has a limit of 5 hours 30 minutes from the last official start, and there are 12,000 bibs in total. The half marathon has a limit of 2 hours 45 minutes, with intermediate cut-offs at 5, 10, 15 and 20 km, and aid stations with water and isotonic drink at km 5, 10, 15 and 18.

The marathon starts and finishes on Paseo del Parque, while the half marathon finishes on Avenida Cánovas del Castillo. Marathon runners find water and isotonic drink at 12 points from km 5 to km 40, and the half marathon's km 15 station also has solid food.

On Livebib you can follow a participant who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, and the official results come from the Generali Maratón de Málaga.
