100 km on the Broadwater

The Gold Coast T100 is a weekend of triathlon at Broadwater Parklands on Queensland's Gold Coast, on 20 and 21 March 2027, as part of the T100 Triathlon World Tour.

The weekend puts age group racing alongside a professional T100 race. Its headline is the 100 km triathlon, the same distance the professionals race on the tour: a 2 km swim, 80 km on the bike and an 18 km run.

The 100 km race is on Sunday 21 March. The swim starts from the Broadwater, the bike course is flat and fast, up and down the coast, and the waterside 18 km run leads to the finish line. The Olympic distance on Saturday 20 March covers 1.5 km, 40 km and 10 km and suits athletes stepping up from shorter races as well as those chasing a personal best.

Every T100 Triathlon event is a qualifier for the T100 age group world championship finals in Qatar, and the tour is recognised by World Triathlon as the official world championship tour of long distance triathlon. Athletes chasing a place in the finals race here, and many first timers choose it too.

The course begins at Broadwater Parklands and finishes in the heart of Surfers Paradise, and the professional T100 race is part of the same weekend, so supporters can follow both.
