From the sea at Pafos to the summit of Cyprus

OlympusMan is a point to point triathlon in Cyprus that starts with a swim at Pafos and finishes on Olympus peak at 1952 m.

OlympusMan takes place on Saturday 7 November 2026 and is organised by Activate Cyprus. The race starts in the sea at Pafos and ends at the top of the island, so every athlete climbs from sea level to Olympus peak in the Troodos mountains during one day.

The swim is 1.9 km at the Pafos Municipal Baths at Alykes Beach. The 84 km bike leg climbs 2410 m from Pafos to Troodos Square, passing villages such as Nikoklia, Mamonia, Kidasi, Kato Platres and Prodromos, with feed stations at Kidasi, Platres and Lemythou. The 21 km run leaves Troodos Square on the Atalanti and Artemis trails and climbs to the summit. Individuals and relay teams can enter.

OlympusMan Xtreme runs on the same day for experienced long distance triathletes. It has a 3.8 km swim from Yeroskipou Beach to Alykes Beach, a 172 km bike leg with 4720 m of climbing that loops past Kykkos Monastery and the Cedar valley before Olympus, and a 43 km run on loops of 8.8 km and 6.8 km at Troodos Square. Entry is by application, and the organiser needs at least eight confirmed athletes for it to go ahead.

Supporters can see the start on the coast at Pafos and then drive up to Troodos to meet athletes near the finish. The organiser provides a bus back down to the start area for OlympusMan finishers.
