Three days in the Tsitsikamma

The Glacier Storms River Traverse is a three day mountain bike stage race based at the Tsitsikamma Village Inn in Storms River Village, organised by Dryland.

The 2027 edition runs from Friday 30 July to Sunday 1 August. Every stage starts at 08:30, and the event is based at the Tsitsikamma Village Inn in Storms River Village.

Stage one is 62 kilometres with 950 metres of climbing, stage two is 50 kilometres with 820 metres and stage three is 51 kilometres with 830 metres. In total that is 163 kilometres and 2,600 metres of climbing over three days.

The stages are moderate in length, which makes the event a good first stage race for mountain bikers who ride regularly. eBikes are welcome too, so mixed groups of riders can take part together.

With a single base at the Tsitsikamma Village Inn for all three days, family and friends know where to find riders. Check the organiser's information for stage details before the weekend.
