Three days of mountain biking in Minas Gerais

Brasil Ride Espinhaço is a three day mountain bike stage race based at the Arena Brasil Ride in Conceição do Mato Dentro, Minas Gerais.

The 2026 edition runs from Friday 13 to Sunday 15 November. Everything starts and finishes around the Arena Brasil Ride in Conceição do Mato Dentro, so riders and their support crews have a single base for the whole weekend.

The MTB Pro category covers 152.6 kilometres and 4,333 metres of climbing in three stages. It opens with a 16 kilometre prologue with 393 metres of climbing on the Friday afternoon, when the E-Bike riders go first at 14:00 and the MTB starts follow from 14:10 to 15:30. Saturday's stage is the long one, 86 kilometres and 2,730 metres, starting at 08:00, and Sunday closes with 50.6 kilometres and 1,210 metres, also from 08:00.

The E-Bike Pro category rides the same prologue and final stage, with a 43 kilometre middle stage that starts and finishes in Tabuleiro, for 109.6 kilometres in total. Riders who want a single day can enter the Maratona CMD, which uses the final stage on Sunday 15 November at 08:00.

The three day format suits cyclists who have trained for back to back days with a lot of climbing, and the one day marathon is a good first taste of the event. Spectators will find the most going on at the arena, where every stage begins and ends.

On Livebib you can follow a participant live when that person chooses to share their own position from the phone they carry during the race. The dot on the map comes from the participant's phone, not from the organiser's timing, and the official results are published by the organiser.
