Volta Internacional da Pampulha, live.

One lap of the Pampulha lagoon

The Volta Internacional da Pampulha is a single 18 km lap of the Lagoa da Pampulha in Belo Horizonte, run early on a December Sunday.

The 27th Volta Internacional da Pampulha takes place on Sunday 6 December 2026 in Belo Horizonte. It is a single race, the Corrida 18K, with an official measured distance of 18,079 m, organised by Yescom.

Start and finish are on Avenida Antônio Abrahão Caran at the corner of Avenida Coronel Oscar Paschoal, beside the Mineirão stadium. Most of the course follows Avenida Otacílio Negrão de Lima around the Lagoa da Pampulha, so participants run one full lap of the water before returning to the stadium.

Wheelchair athletes start at 05:57 and the elite at 05:58, with the general field in three waves at 06:00, 06:07 and 06:15, grouped by expected finish time. Kits are collected at Power Shopping Centerminas on 3 and 4 December from 10:00 to 19:00 and on 5 December from 10:00 to 17:30, and there is no pick up on race day.

At 18 km the Volta sits between a 10K and a half marathon, which makes it a good end of season goal for people stepping up in distance. The early start avoids the worst of the summer heat, and supporters can choose any point on the lagoon shore or wait at the stadium.

On Livebib you can follow a participant who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, so the dot on the map is only as good as that phone and its signal. Official results and splits come from the organiser.
