Twelve events across one May weekend

The DICK'S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon weekend fills the city on 1 and 2 May 2027 with twelve events, from a toddler trot to the marathon.

Organised by P3R, the 2027 DICK'S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon weekend runs on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 May and brings together over 50,000 runners. With twelve events, there is something for every age and pace, and registration for 2027 is open.

Sunday 2 May is the main race day. It brings the DICK'S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon, the UPMC Health Plan Pittsburgh Half Marathon with its own walking division, the BACK Half Marathon benefiting Run for a Reason, the FedEx Pittsburgh Marathon Relay, the PNC Handcycle Division and the GNC Pittsburgh 4-Mile Fitness Challenge.

Saturday 1 May is the day for shorter races and families: the UPMC Health Plan and UPMC Sports Medicine Pittsburgh 5K, the U. S. Steel Pittsburgh Champions Mile, the Chick-fil-A Pittsburgh Kids Marathon, the Sheetz Pittsburgh Toddler Trot and the Pittsburgh Pet Walk.
