Padova Marathon, live.

From the Euganean Hills to Prato della Valle

The 27th Padova Marathon runs on Sunday 18 April 2027, with a marathon, a half marathon and a 10 km that all end in the great square of Prato della Valle.

The race was born in 2000 to mark the Jubilee, and for its first 11 editions it ran from Vedelago, in the province of Treviso, to Padova. Since 2016 the marathon has started and finished in Padova, and the course record of 2h08'22 was set by Kipchumba of Kenya in 2024. The organiser is Assindustria Sport, an athletics club founded in 1971.

The marathon starts at 08:30 at the Stadio Euganeo and heads through Rubano, Selvazzano Dentro and Teolo towards the Euganean Hills, into the pedestrian heart of the spa town Abano Terme past the Kursaal. It returns by the Mandria and Via Goito into the old town, past Piazza dei Signori, Piazza della Frutta, Caffè Pedrocchi, Palazzo del Bo and the Basilica of Saint Anthony, before finishing in Prato della Valle.

The half marathon starts at 09:45 from the Monteortone stadium in Abano Terme, passes Montegrotto Terme and joins the same finish through the old town. The 10Crono starts at 09:15 and is a timed, non competitive 10 km that starts and finishes in Prato della Valle, open from age 16 without a medical certificate and capped at 2,000. The marathon is open from age 20 and the half from 18.

The organiser calls the course fast, and the last kilometres through the old town and into Prato della Valle give spectators the best view. It suits a spring marathon target as well as a first half.

On Livebib you can follow a participant who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, so the dot on the map is only as good as that phone and its signal. Official results and split times come from the organiser.
