The season finale in Biddinghuizen

Mud Masters Biddinghuizen is a three day obstacle run festival at the Walibi Event Grounds in Biddinghuizen, with courses from 6 to 42 km.

The 2027 edition runs on Friday 24, Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 September and closes the Mud Masters season after Haarlemmermeer in June and Airport Weeze the weekend before. A Family Edition for children and their parents is held on the Sunday. Mud Masters has organised obstacle runs since 2012 and counts around 60,000 finishers a year.

Mud Masters offers four distances: 6 km with at least 13 obstacles and an average finish time of about 1 hour 15 minutes, 12 km with 23 or more obstacles in about 2 hours 30 minutes, 16 km with more than 30 obstacles in about 3 hours 15 minutes, and the 42 km for those who want the whole day in the mud.

The course is inspired by real military training courses, and teamwork is the point: you get over the walls, pipes and trenches with friends and strangers. Every season the routes change and new obstacles are built, and the exact map and obstacle list for each edition are published a few weeks before the start.

Water and fruit are handed out on the course, and every finisher gets a finish shirt, personal action photos and a drink. Cloakrooms, changing areas and rinsing facilities are on site, and afterwards there is time for a cold beer at the finish festival.

On Livebib you can follow a participant live if they choose to share their own position from the phone they carry. That position comes from the participant, not from the organiser's timing, and the official results are published by the organiser.
