Miami Marathon, live.

Over the causeways, from South Beach to Coconut Grove

The Life Time Miami Marathon and Half run on Sunday 31 January 2027 on a flat course that crosses Biscayne Bay and finishes at Bayfront Park.

The Life Time Miami Marathon and Half is a winter race weekend in Miami, with an expo on 29 and 30 January 2027 and the main races on Sunday 31 January. The marathon is a flat, single loop course certified by USATF and a Boston qualifier.

Both races head out over the MacArthur Causeway in the first mile and pass the Art Deco district of South Beach. Race morning road closures take in the Venetian Causeway, the Rickenbacker Causeway, Coconut Grove and Brickell. Both races finish at Bayfront Park, with the half deviating from the marathon line only in the last 200 metres.

On Saturday 30 January the Tropical 5K starts at 7:30 on the east side of Watson Island, at 980 MacArthur Causeway, on a point to point course with a 60 minute limit. It is a relaxed way for families and friends to join the weekend.

The start is a secure, athlete only zone, so spectators head to Bayfront Park, where bleachers just south of the finish line are open on a first come, first served basis and a livestream shows the start. Cheer sign making stations are available at the expo.

On Livebib you can follow a participant who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, and the official results come from the Miami Marathon.
