Five trail races above the north shore of Lake Garda

La Sportiva Garda Trentino Trail is a three day trail running weekend in Arco, at the northern tip of Lake Garda, with five races from 100 to 12 km.

The 12th edition runs from Friday 14 to Sunday 16 May 2027 with its base in Arco. The races cross the Ledro Alps and the hills above Garda on paths, mule tracks and dirt roads, between about 70 m and 2,100 m above sea level.

The new Extra is a 100 km ultra on a fully marked course with about 5,800 m of climbing and 8 aid stations. It starts from Arco at 21:00 on Friday, goes over the summit of Monte Stivo, drops to the shore of the lake and then joins the classic Garda Trentino Trail route, with a 27 hour limit. The Garda Trentino Trail itself grows to 75 km and about 4,000 m, starting and finishing in Arco at 7:00 on Saturday and reaching Riva del Garda on new paths.

Also on Saturday, the Ledro Trail covers 44 km and 2,400 m from the lido at Pieve di Ledro to Arco along the Sentiero della Pace, starting at 10:30. The Tenno Trail starts at 10:00 and runs 30 km and 1,600 m from Arco back to Arco through the medieval villages of Tenno and past its emerald lake. On Sunday at 10:00 the Castle Run closes the weekend with 12 km and a double climb to Arco castle, starting and finishing in Piazza Segantini.

Runners must be at least 20 and entries close at midnight on 11 May 2027. On Saturday in Arco the first finishers are expected from about 11:00, with prize giving at 17:00.
