Anfi Challenge Mogán-Gran Canaria, live.

An early season test on the Gran Canaria coast

Anfi Challenge Mogán-Gran Canaria is a triathlon based at the Anfi del Mar resort in Mogán, Gran Canaria, on 17 April 2027, one of the first European races of the season.

The race is part of Challenge Family and is known as a fair and honest race on a challenging, varied course. Registration, briefings, the expo and prize giving all happen at Anfi del Mar, with start and finish lines within 200 m of each other. The race director is Jordi Gonzalez.

The main race is the 100 distance: 2 km of swimming, 80 km on the bike and 18 km of running. The swim is two laps from Anfi del Mar beach, with a run round a colourful fish statue on the beach between laps, and T1 about 430 m from the swim exit. The bike is four laps from Anfi del Mar to Taurito and back on roads closed to traffic, usually described as rolling hills, and it opens with a steep climb from the promenade to the main road. The run is four full laps from the bottom of the ramp after T2 towards Balito Beach, always parallel to the sea.

The standard distance, 1.9 km, 42 km and 12.6 km, offers a shorter race on the same coast. Average air temperature is around 21 degrees and the water around 19, and the island's weather makes it a good family destination.

With a host of restaurants, cafés and bars at Anfi del Mar, activities for all ages and side events for the whole family, the organiser presents it as a destination race for racing and holidaying with the family.

On Livebib you can follow a participant who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry during the race. That is the athlete's own sharing and not the organiser's timing, and the official results come from the organiser.
