Angeles Crest 100, live.

100 miles in the San Gabriel Mountains

The Angeles Crest 100 Mile Endurance Run starts and finishes at Loma Alta Park in Altadena on Saturday 2 October 2027, its 37th running.

First held in 1986, the Angeles Crest 100 is one of the original five 100 mile trail races in the United States. It runs through the San Gabriel Mountains in the Angeles National Forest above Los Angeles, and the 37th annual race is on Saturday 2 October 2027.

A revised loop course was introduced in 2026. It covers 100.8 miles from Loma Alta Park to Mt. Hillyer and back, with aid stations at Red Box at mile 24.6, Chilao at mile 49.1 and Chantry Flats at mile 78.7. Entry is by lottery, which ran from 12 to 26 October 2026, and entrants need a qualifying race of 50 miles or more plus 8 hours of trail work by 2 September 2027.

The 100K starts at 7:00 on the same day from Loma Alta Park. It covers an estimated 62.51 miles with 11,879 feet of climbing, passing Clear Creek, Josephine Peak, Red Box, Newcomb, Chantry Flats, Mt Wilson, Sam Merrill and Millard. Registration is open, and 100K entrants need 4 hours of trail work.

The 100-mile race starts at 5:00 and its finish at Loma Alta Park closes at 2:00 pm on Sunday, and runners in its Solo division go without pacers or crew. In the 100K neither pacers nor crew are allowed, and the top two men and top two women earn a Sterling Silver Ticket into the 2028 AC100.

On Livebib you can follow a participant who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, and the official results come from the Angeles Crest 100.
