Xtrail 10K

The organiser presents the 10K as the perfect light trail for beginners. The route follows Taiwan’s southern coastline toward the Dajianshih ridgeline, which the race calls the sacred mountain of the Skaru, with sea views alongside and herds of cattle along the way. Note that the course is 11 km, a kilometre longer than the name, and that the ascent is gentle enough to run most of it.

Four hours is a generous limit for 11 km, which makes this the race for a first trail start, for walking with company, or for a runner whose partner is out on the 25K the same morning. A profile, a map with GPX and time charts are published with the race. Aid stations are not named in the page text.

This page belongs to the 2027 Xtrail 10K. It is short enough that most families will simply wait at the finish, but a Livebib link still answers the one question that matters there: how far away is she now? The runner shares the link, family open it in a browser with no app, and they see the position on the course line, the distance covered and a finish estimate that updates as the race goes, with any gap in signal marked as estimated.
