Four laps of asphalt and gravel around Jämjö
Jämjöhalvan is an open race for everyone, organised by Team Blekinge LF in Jämjö, east of Karlskrona.
Jämjöhalvan is a race for everyone, with distances from a children's race to a half marathon. It is a seeding race, so a result here can improve a start position in races such as Göteborgsvarvet. In 2026 it also hosts Veteran-SM, the Swedish veterans' championship in the half marathon.
The course is a lap circuit that the organiser describes as easy to run and good for spectators. The half marathon covers four laps, the 10 km two laps and the 5 km one lap. Each lap is 40 % asphalt and 60 % gravel on firm ground. This year the start and finish areas have moved, while the rest of the route is as before. Participants keep count of their own laps.
On Saturday 7 November 2026 the half marathon and Jämjöhallenstafetten, a relay where teams of four share the 21.1 km, start at 11:00. The 10 km follows at 11:10 and the 5 km at 11:15. The children's race of about 500 m starts at 13:15 on its own loop by Jämjö Kunskapscentrum, the event centre, where families can follow alongside. Prize giving is around 12:45 for 5 km and 10 km and around 13:30 for the half marathon and relay.
A person taking part can choose to share their own live position on Livebib from the phone they carry, so friends and family can follow from home. This is not the organiser's timing. The race uses chip timing, and official results come from Team Blekinge LF.
