YCC

What the name means
Youth Chamonix Courmayeur: a young runners’ challenge raced in both towns.

The YCC is the week’s race for teenagers, held over two days in two countries. On Tuesday a self-supported trail race leaves the centre of Courmayeur, with a distance and climb set for each age group. On Wednesday the best 200 meet again in Chamonix for a short second race, YCC The Revenge.

It gives the next generation the whole experience of the week: a finish under the UTMB arch, speakers and a crowd, live tracking. Several of its winners have gone on to win major trail races.
