Marathon des Alpes-Maritimes Nice-Cannes, live.

From the Promenade des Anglais to the Croisette along the sea

The Marathon des Alpes-Maritimes Nice-Cannes is a point to point road marathon along the French Riviera, from Nice to Cannes.

The 18th edition, also known as the French Riviera Marathon, is on Sunday 8 November 2026. It is organised by Azur Sport Organisation, a club affiliated to the French athletics federation. The start is on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, in front of the Théâtre de Verdure, and the finish is on the Boulevard de la Croisette in Cannes.

There are three ways to take part. The marathon runs the whole way from Nice to Cannes. The 2 x 21.1 km duo splits the same course between two people, with the handover at Antibes Juan-les-Pins. The 20 km, held for the seventh time, starts with the marathon and finishes in Villeneuve-Loubet on the seaside road.

The start is in waves. Handisport marathon runners leave at 7:57, the fastest marathon wave at 8:00, then further waves at 8:25, 8:50 and 9:15 for marathon runners, duos and relay runners according to their target time. Water points come about every 2.5 km from km 5 to km 25, then about every 1.5 km to the finish. Entry is open to runners born in 2009 or earlier, with a medical licence or a PPS certificate.

Every bib doubles as a train ticket: on race day participants travel free on the TER trains between Nice and Cannes, in both directions. The 20 km runners start in the 8:00 wave alongside the marathon runners, with their own pens for under 1h30, 1h30 to 2h00 and over 2h00.

On Livebib you can follow a participant who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, and the official results come from the Marathon des Alpes-Maritimes Nice-Cannes.
