The course leaves Courmayeur through Verrand, climbs to Tirecorne at 1,951 metres in the first five kilometres, drops to La Suche and comes back down the valley through Villair to the finish. Fifteen kilometres and 1,200 metres of ascent make it steeper per kilometre than several of the longer races, and it is run in an afternoon rather than through a night, which is what makes it the entry point to the week for runners who have never raced in the massif.
The details here belong to the 2026 ETC. Distance, ascent, start time and course are kept with this edition, and a future change to the loop will not overwrite them. A Livebib broadcast on this race follows the runner around the stored course, which for a short loop means the map shows the whole route from the first minute.
