A city triathlon from the Wöhrder See

The DATAGROUP Triathlon Nürnberg is a city triathlon in Nuremberg, Germany, on Sunday 15 August 2027, with the swim in the Wöhrder See.

The race is organised by Deutsche Triathlon gGmbH, and the 2026 edition drew record participation. The course is varied for a city race: a swim in the Wöhrder See, a bike through the centre of Nuremberg and a run over the Wöhrder Wiesen along the Pegnitz and through the city centre.

There are three distances. The standard distance covers 1.5 km of swimming, 40 km on the bike and 10 km of running, with cut-offs of 50 minutes, 2 hours 35 and 3 hours 50. The SUZUKI sprint is 0.5 km, 20 km and 5 km, and the super sprint is 0.3 km, 10 km and 3 km. Relays can enter the sprint and the standard distance, and there is a para cup over the sprint distance.

Most races use a rolling start, and start times are still to be published. Race packs are handed out on Saturday 14 August on the Wöhrder Wiese, and transition is at the Noriker car park.

The Wöhrder Wiese is also home to the promotion stands and partner areas, and the age group prize giving takes place on the stage there. The swim, bike and run courses are completely closed for the race.

If a participant chooses to share their live position from the phone they carry, you can follow them on Livebib from start to finish. This is the athlete's own sharing and separate from the organiser's timing, so the official results always come from the organiser.
