Dales mud at Broughton Sanctuary

Tough Mudder Yorkshire is an obstacle weekend on the Broughton Sanctuary estate at Broughton Hall in Skipton, North Yorkshire, on 24 and 25 July 2027.

Choose the 15K with more than 20 obstacles or the 5K with more than 12, on Saturday or Sunday. Infinity runs on Saturday, starting with the 15K and adding chip-timed 15K or 5K laps in the allotted time.

The estate covers 3,000 acres, and the course cuts through the rolling landscape of the Yorkshire Dales. The organiser calls it one of the muddiest and most physically demanding events on the UK calendar, with steep hill climbs, dense woodland tracks and uneven trail paths.

Tough Mudder is about getting a team round together, so it suits friends, clubs and charity groups as well as people who want a hard day out. Many participants raise money for a cause, and the organiser works with a fundraising platform for UK charities.

Finishers receive the 2027 Hex System medal, a shirt, the orange headband and a finish line drink. Kids by Spartan has short obstacle courses for ages 4 to 14, and a Mudder Village pass lets supporters watch and enjoy the festival area.
