Estonia's road gran fondo, from the centre of Tartu

The Tartu Rattaralli is the road cycling event of Klubi Tartu Maraton, with three distances that start and finish by the Aura centre in Tartu.

The 46th Tartu Rattaralli Gran Fondo is on Sunday 6 June 2027. The first edition was held in May 1982 and started from the main square of Tartu, with 362 riders at the finish. Today the event is part of the UCI Gran Fondo World Series and the third stage of the Tartu Maraton Klassik.

All three distances start from the Aura centre parking lot on Turu street 10. The 61 km goes first at 10:00, the 135 km follows at 11:00 and the 27 km at 11:45. Each start is a neutral ride behind a lead vehicle, 2.7 km for the two longer distances and 3.3 km for the 27 km, and the official distances of 134.5 km, 60.5 km and 26.5 km are measured from the technical start.

On the 135 km riders are placed in start waves by age group for the Gran Fondo series, while anyone not chasing a series place can start with the pace groups. On the 61 km you pick your wave by expected finish time, and there are pace groups at about 25 and 30 km/h as well as a start for the Tartu Rattaralli Vintage. The 27 km starts as one group, which suits younger riders and newcomers.

The race office is open at the Aura centre on Friday 4 June and Saturday 5 June, and the kids' races are on Saturday. Spectators see the most at the start and finish by the Aura centre, where the first 61 km riders are expected around 11:30 and the 135 km winner around 13:55.

On Livebib you can follow a cyclist who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, and the official results come from the organiser.
