One hundred kilometres along the Surf Coast

The Surf Coast Century is a trail ultra based in Anglesea on Victoria's Surf Coast, with a 100 km, a 50 km and relays.

The 2027 Surf Coast Century is on Saturday 18 September. The 100 km course is split into four legs with seven checkpoints and about 1,800 m of climbing. It follows beaches and clifftops past Bells Beach, Point Addis and Torquay and returns to Anglesea.

The 50 km covers legs three and four of the full course, so it shares the inland trails and the finish with the 100 km. Teams of two, three or four can also split the 100 km between them as a relay, which makes the event open to clubs and groups of friends.

About 1,500 people took part in 2025. The event is organised by Rapid Ascent.

Support crews and spectators can meet participants at the checkpoints between legs. Anglesea is the hub for the weekend, and the coast road connects the main viewing points.

On Livebib you can follow a participant who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, and the official results come from the Surf Coast Century organisers.
