Two Sprints and a Super in Henderson

Spartan Las Vegas is an obstacle race weekend in Henderson, Nevada, with a Sprint on each day and a Super 10K.

The 2026 weekend takes place on October 3 and 4 at Nevada State University in Henderson. There are three adult races on the programme: the Super 10K, and a Sprint 5K on Saturday plus a second Sprint 5K on Sunday. Racing the Sprint on one day and the Super on the other makes two Spartan races in one weekend.

Spartan’s own race pages pitch the Sprint at new Spartans: 5 km with 20 obstacles, and the Super as 10 km with 25. The signature obstacles they list include the rope climb with a bell at the top, the Atlas Carry, the sandbag carry, the Hercules Hoist, the spear throw and walls of four to eight feet, finishing over the fire jump. Racers who want the same start time as their friends need to register as a team.

An obstacle race does not run at an even pace: a missed spear throw or a long carry changes the finish time in a way no pace chart predicts. On Livebib the racer shares a link to their own broadcast. Family and friends open it in a browser, no app or account needed, and see position on the course line, distance covered and a finish estimate that updates as the race goes. If the phone loses signal, the position is carried forward along the course and marked as estimated.
