Spartan Sparta, live.

Spartan Sparta, 30 October – 1 November 2026: Sprint 5K with 20 obstacles, Super 10K with 25, and the Trifecta World Championship in Sparta, Greece.

Sparta · October 30, 2026

A Trifecta weekend in the town the brand is named after

Spartan brings its obstacle races to Sparta itself, with a Sprint, a Super and the Trifecta World Championship over one long weekend.

Spartan Sparta runs from Friday 30 October to Sunday 1 November 2026. Friday is the Sprint, 5 km with 20 obstacles; Saturday is the Super, 10 km with 25 obstacles, plus a Kids Race of one to three kilometres. Sunday 1 November holds the Trifecta World Championship, which Spartan describes as completing a Sprint, a Super and a Beast in one weekend. Around it sit the longer formats: March 300, 60 km, on 28 October, and a four-hour Hurricane Heat on 30 October.

Spartan’s page sells the place more than the course: it calls Sparta a bucket-list location and invites racers to sightsee the home of all Spartans while they compete. A racer quoted on the page remembers the final kilometre through the town centre, taking on the obstacles there, which also points to where spectators can stand. The page lists the Sprint’s average finish time as 1 h 32 min 12 s, but publishes no start waves, ascent or time limits; those come with the race-day information.

An obstacle race is hard to follow from the outside, because the clock says nothing about where someone is between the obstacles, and a Trifecta weekend multiplies that by three. The racer can share a link to their own Livebib broadcast; family and friends open it in a browser, with no account and no app, and see the position on the course line, distance covered and a finish estimate that updates as the race goes. Anything estimated is marked as estimated, and the racer decides who gets the link.
