Maratona Internacional de São Paulo, live.

From the Ibirapuera Obelisk through the city

The 31st Maratona Internacional de São Paulo starts and finishes at the Obelisk by Ibirapuera Park on the first Sunday of April.

The 31st Maratona Internacional de São Paulo takes place on Sunday 4 April 2027. The organiser, Yescom, offers four distances that morning: the marathon over 42.195 km, the half marathon, a 14K and a 7K. On Saturday 3 April the Corrida das Nações 5K is run at Campo de Marte, and it is only open to people who also enter one of Sunday's races through the combo entry.

Start and finish are on Avenida Pedro Álvares Cabral at the Obelisk in Ibirapuera. The marathon wheelchair start is at 05:44 and the elite and first wave go at 05:45, with later waves every ten minutes and the 14K and 7K at 06:20. The marathon has cut off points along the way, the last at km 33.8 by gate 1 of the University of São Paulo at 11:10.

Kits are collected at the expo in the Oca in Ibirapuera Park on 1 and 2 April from 10:00 to 19:00 and on 3 April from 08:00 to 17:30. The start area is close to the AACD metro station on Line 5 and Paraíso on Lines 1 and 2.

The early start and the choice of four distances make this a good race for groups of mixed ability, and the half and the 14K give runners who usually race 10 km a longer goal. Supporters can see the start and finish without moving far, since both are at the Obelisk.

On Livebib you can follow a participant who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, so the dot on the map is only as good as that phone and its signal. Official results and splits come from the organiser.
