The organiser gives 17 km and 650 m of climbing, with a 3 hour 30 minute limit, and presents it as the short, technical way into Corsican trail running: suited to newcomers as well as to anyone who wants a fast race on rough ground. The course follows the old Mare a Mare Nord mule track, runs along the Monte Tumbone ridges past the San Rocco chapel, with views over Corte and the Rotondu massif.

The single aid station on the way is at the stadium, about 8 km in and around 800 m up, near the top of the climb. The return is a fast descent through a chestnut grove, then flatter ground before the finish in Corte’s old town. The organiser’s timing table puts the first runners home around 19:10 and the last before 22:15, so the back of the field finishes as it gets dark.
