Outlaw Holkham, live.

Middle distance at Holkham Hall

Outlaw Holkham is a weekend of multisport at Holkham Hall near Wells-next-the-Sea in North Norfolk on 3 and 4 July 2027, with the Outlaw Holkham Half on the Sunday.

Sunday 4 July is the Outlaw Holkham Half, a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike and 13.1 mile run for individuals or relays, starting at 6:00am, with the Aquabike over the same swim and bike alongside it. Saturday 3 July has the Outlaw Gravel Sprint Holkham (750 m swim, 20 km off-road bike, 5 km run) from 9:00am, the Holkham 10k and the Future Outlaw runs for younger athletes.

The Half swim is a single loop of the private lake at the Holkham Estate, around the island and back to transition in front of the Hall, with a time trial start. The bike leaves the estate for one undulating lap of North Norfolk countryside and coastal roads, passing the Sandringham Estate, and climbs back to the Obelisk. The run starts with that climb again and then three laps of the estate on roads and tracks.

The Gravel Sprint stays inside the estate walls on trails, farm and gravel roads, so a gravel, cyclocross, mountain or sturdy hybrid bike is recommended. It is a good first triathlon for people who would rather avoid traffic.

Camping on site opens on Friday, and Sunday athletes register and rack on Saturday. The event village has food and exhibitors, there are places to cheer around the course and at the finish, dogs on a lead are welcome, and parking is charged.

On Livebib you can follow a participant who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry on course. That dot on the map is the person's own sharing, not the organiser's timing, and the official results are published by the organiser.
