Navy Race Horten, live.

Where Navy Race began, at the old naval station

Navy Race Horten is the obstacle race at Karljohansvern, the old naval station in Horten where Navy Race first started, on 7 and 8 August 2027.

Karljohansvern, with its guns, trenches, warships and submarine, is in the organiser's words the perfect setting for a military inspired obstacle race. The course runs around gun towers, over warships, along the submarine and past naval vessels, then out into the forest, along the shoreline and into the water. In all it covers 8 km with 30 obstacles, from climbing walls to crawling in sand and wading.

Adults choose between three classes on the same course. Ordinær is open to everyone, Elite is for those who want to race the best, and S.E.A.L. is for those who carry a weight vest the whole way. If there is an obstacle you cannot do, an alternative exercise is always on offer.

Navy Race Kids gives children their own course in two age groups, Mini for ages 4 to 7 and Junior for ages 8 to 13. Adults may run alongside to cheer and help. Visitors from further away can spend the whole Navy Race weekend in Horten, and the organiser has a hotel partner in town.

Every start begins with a pre-race bootcamp, and the Never leave a man behind crew makes sure everyone reaches the finish. The organiser calls Navy Race the perfect team building activity for companies, families and groups of friends.

On Livebib, a participant can choose to share their own live position from the phone they carry, so friends can follow along on the map. This is not the organiser's timing, and the official results come from Navy Race.
