Marcona Wind Trail 10K

Runners gather at Playa Los Leones at 06:30, with the 42K and 65K runners, and start an hour after them. The 10K has three control points, the start, a turnaround point and the finish, so it is an out and back on the coast. There is one hydration point on the course and another at the finish, and no time barrier.

It is the most open race of the day. It is the one distance where a 17-year-old can take part, running with a registered parent or guardian beside them the whole way. The course still has the sand, earth and rock of the longer races and the wind-shaped rock formations above the beach. The awards for every distance are held at 15:00 at Playa Los Leones.
