Lomas, dunes and dry ravines south of Lima

The first round of the 2026/2027 Perú Trail Series, on Sunday 15 November 2026 in the Santuario de Amancay, Pachacámac, 45 minutes from Lima. Four races and a 2 km kids’ run on coastal lomas, dunes and dry ravines.

The starts are an hour apart, longest first. The 32K (2,080 m of climbing) goes at 05:00, the 24K (1,425 m) at 06:00, the 14K (878 m) at 07:00 and the 8K (451 m) at 08:00, and the kids’ 2 km run, for ages 5 to 13, follows at 10:00. The organiser publishes each distance as a range and says lengths vary with each venue’s trails. Online entry has closed. Buses from Lima can still be booked: at 02:00 for the 24K and 32K runners and at 04:00 for the 14K and 8K, and kits are handed out on 13 and 14 November at the Hotel Pullman San Isidro.

The Santuario de Amancay is coastal lomas, where the sea fog turns the desert into a living park between June and November, and the courses run over hills, dunes and dry ravines up to 821 m. The organiser promises a well marked route, well stocked aid points, type 2 ambulances, rescue staff at the critical points and an emergency number printed on every bib, and says it waits for the last runner. Every runner carries their own container, because the aid points hand out no cups or bottles. Pachacamac Trail opens a season of four races that ends with the Grand Final in Paracas on 24 April 2027.

On Livebib the runner shares a link with whoever they choose. Family and friends open it in a browser, no app or account needed, and see the position on the course line, distance covered and a finish estimate that updates as the race goes. When the signal drops, the position is carried forward along the course and marked as estimated instead of freezing.
