Five mountain routes from Kruth into the Vosges

L'Alsacienne is a cyclosportive and randonnée in the Vosges that starts from Kruth in the Haut-Rhin, with five routes and one shared start.

The 2027 edition is on Sunday 27 June in Kruth. All five routes leave together at 7:30 from the shore of a mountain lake, and the first kilometres are ridden as one colourful peloton before the routes split. Registration opens on 1 February at 9:00, and places are limited to 3,500.

Three routes are timed. The PF covers 120 km with about 2,800 m of climbing, the MF 150 km and 3,800 m on a figure of eight course, and the GF 195 km and 4,900 m, crossing from Bussang to the edge of Munster, through Wasserbourg and Sondernach and on to La Bresse. The organiser counts 13 cols in total, with names such as the Grand Ballon, the Markstein, the Col du Haag, the virage Pinot and the Platzerwasel.

Two randonnées of 56 and 75 km are not timed and are also open to electric bikes. The 75 km climbs three cols before reaching the 1,224 m of the Haag, and the 56 km links the Thur valley with the Vosges ridges. They suit cyclists who want the atmosphere of a big event without the clock.

The village opens on Saturday from 11:00 to 18:00, and collecting your number that day is strongly recommended. On Sunday the leaders of the 120 km are expected at the finish around 11:00, those of the 150 km around 12:15 and those of the 195 km around 13:50, and the podium ceremonies follow through the afternoon. The roads on the cols are reserved for cyclists and the intersections are marshalled.
