Two gravel courses from Goshen in the Arkansas hills

The Highlands Gravel Classic is a UCI Gravel World Series race from Goshen Community Center, near Fayetteville, with two courses that are both about 85 percent gravel.

The 2027 race is on Saturday 24 April. The start and finish are at the Goshen Community Center on Clark Street in Goshen, Arkansas, and the event is promoted by All Sports Productions.

There are two courses. The Highlands covers 68 miles with feed zones at miles 19.9, 40.8 and 56.5. The Farmlands covers 54 miles with feed zones at miles 19.9 and 42.6. The organiser says the 2027 maps will be very similar to the 2026 courses, which are published for riders to study.

Because this is a UCI Gravel World Series event, age groups are tied to a course. The Highlands is for men aged 19 to 59, women aged 19 to 49 and all elite riders. The Farmlands is for men aged 60 and over and women aged 50 and over. Riders who finish in the first 25 percent of their age group qualify for the UCI Gravel World Championships, as do the first three of each age category.

Race day starts with the UCI elite men at 8:00 am, followed by the age group and elite women waves, and the Farmlands waves at 8:45 am and 8:50 am. Spectators can watch the starts at the community center and stay for food and drink from 11:00 am, with podiums from noon.

On Livebib you can follow a cyclist who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, and the official results come from the organiser.
