Dolomitenlauf Classic 42 km

This page covers the 2027 Dolomitenlauf 42 km in classic technique, the race of the second day. It is four laps of the Dolomitenloipe at about 1,500 metres above sea level, with the Obertilliach biathlon stadium as the central point, passed several times. The start is at 10:00, together with the 21 km.

Anyone who skated on Saturday lines up on Sunday with the previous day in their legs — the organiser sells a combined entry for both days. The same rule applies as on Saturday: stop after two laps and you are ranked in the 21 km automatically. The organiser promises “more enjoyment, fewer climbs” and publishes no ascent figure. Bibs are handed out on Sunday from 07:30 to 10:00 at the Langlauf- und Biathlonzentrum Osttirol, Rodarm 25; bring official photo ID.

Four classic laps make a long morning for the people waiting in the stadium. With the Livebib link, family and friends see where the skier is on the lap, distance covered and a finish estimate that sharpens with every lap; if the phone loses signal, the position is carried forward along the track and marked as estimated.
