Four loops from one base camp in Pachacámac

Four races on 5 and 6 March 2027, all starting and finishing at the same base camp in the Santuario de Amancay de UNACEM, in the Lima district of Pachacámac. The organiser, +OUTDOOR, runs it as a semi-self-sufficient race on trails, tracks and technical paths with real climbing.

The 80K (82.06 km, 3,963 m of climbing, 16 hours) starts on the night of Friday 5 March and the other three race on Saturday 6 March: the 50K (50.76 km, 2,401 m, 13 hours), the 21K (23.22 km, 782 m, 6 hours) and the 10K (11.41 km, 498 m, 2 h 45). The organiser’s guide and website still give different start times, so check the final runner guide before race day. The 80K has two time barriers, at km 17.5 and km 59.5, and the 50K one, at km 17.5, close to the base camp, with their times still to be confirmed.

The aid points carry the names of the ground: El Arbolito and Cactáceas on the shorter loops, Pampa Flores, Mirador, Prado and Cactáceas on the two long ones, and the 80K’s profile runs from 190 m to 829 m. Days here are hot and dry, up to 28 or 30 °C, while the long races start in the cooler night at 18 to 20 °C. The race aims for zero waste, so there are no bottles or cups: every runner carries a collapsible cup, a thermal blanket, a whistle and a phone with the route loaded and the organiser’s number saved.

With night sections on the long courses and every race returning to the same base camp, the people waiting there want to know when to look up the trail. On Livebib the runner shares a link with whoever they choose. Family and friends open it in a browser, no app or account needed, and see the position on the course line, distance covered and a finish estimate that updates as the race goes. When the signal drops, the position is carried forward along the course and marked as estimated instead of freezing.
