Zandvoort Circuit Run, live.

A lap of the Formula 1 track, then the beach and the dunes

The Zandvoort Circuit Run starts in the pit lane of Circuit Zandvoort and sends every participant round a full lap of the Formula 1 track before the longer distances head for the sea.

The 2027 edition is on Sunday 21 March. Organised by Le Champion, it has three main distances: 4 km (One Lap) at 11:00, the 12 km main distance at 12:00 and 10 English miles (16.1 km) at 13:30. Earlier in the morning come the Circuit Run Specials and the Kids Circuit Run. Every race starts from the pit lane and finishes in front of the main grandstand.

The first 4 km are the circuit itself, with its banked corners, curbs and real height differences. The 4 km stays inside the circuit gates. The 12 km leaves through the paddock past the Driving Experience, runs about 2 km along the beach and then comes through the centre of Zandvoort by the Haltestraat and the Van Speijkstraat back to the track. The 10 miles stays on the beach for about 4.5 km, turns inland south of the village into the Amsterdamse Waterleidingduinen and then follows the same route through the village.

Time limits are 40 minutes for the 4 km, 105 minutes for the 12 km and 140 minutes for the 10 miles, and the finish closes at 16:30. Start pens are marked by colour at the pit boxes and open 20 minutes before each start. The mix of tarmac, sand and dune path suits runners who like variety more than a flat personal best.

Spectators can watch on the circuit and in the village, where residents line the Haltestraat to cheer the field on.

On Livebib you can follow a participant who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, and the official results come from the organiser.
