Wild 10 Crans-Montana
The loop starts with about two kilometres of tarmac, then climbs steeply on an easy path to the hamlet of Vermala, crossing the finish slope of the Alpine Skiing World Cup downhill twice on the way. Through the pastures it reaches Merbé, the highest point, where the organiser promises a view south from Mont Blanc to Monte Rosa. From there it descends to Plan-Mayens, rolls downhill for about three kilometres to Crans-Montana, and loops round the Lac Grenon and past the Ycoor pond to the finish.
Merbé is a drinks-only aid station that can be reached by cable car, with one supporter per runner allowed in. At Arnouva spectators can watch but not help. The race is open from age 10 to 99, free for 10- to 17-year-olds, and adults may run alongside young runners if they register too. Four hours for 10 kilometres is room for anyone to walk the climbs.
This page belongs to the 2026 Wild 10. It is the race most likely to have a family on the course and another part of the family at the finish. On Livebib the runner shares a link to their own broadcast. It opens in any browser, with no app or account, and shows the position on the course line, distance covered and a finish estimate. If the phone loses signal on the way to Merbé, the position is carried forward along the course and marked estimated rather than freezing.
