Three peaks, one lake, and a start at three in the morning

A UTMB World Series event in the highlands around Da Lat, where every race ends at the Clay Tunnel on the shore of Tuyen Lam Lake.

All four races run on Saturday 9 January 2027. The 100K Langbiang leaves Lam Vien Square in central Da Lat at 03:00 and the 50K Elephant at 05:00; the 20K Pinhatt starts at 07:30 and the 10K Tuyen Lam at 09:00, both from the Clay Tunnel Tourist Area, which is also where every course finishes.

The long course strings together three summits named by the organiser: Langbiang Peak at 2,167 m, Elephant Mountain at 1,815 m and Pinhatt Peak at 1,600 m, which looks over the whole of Tuyen Lam Lake. In between are pine forest, the shore of Suoi Vang Lake, the greenhouses around Da Lat, mountain streams and the K’ho village of Gan Reo with its coffee farms. The 100K crosses Bidoup–Nui Ba National Park and the Tuyen Lam National Scenic Area, with 5,533 m of climbing over 104.2 km. Aid stations are cup-less: every runner carries their own cup.

A race that starts at three in the morning and can last 29 hours spends a long time in the dark and under forest canopy, away from anyone waiting at the lake.
