Rinjani 100, live.

Six distances on the volcano of Lombok

Rinjani 100 is a mountain trail race on the slopes of Gunung Rinjani, the volcano that rises above the island of Lombok in Indonesia.

The 14th edition is held from 7 to 9 May 2027 inside Gunung Rinjani National Park, known locally as TNGR. The race is organised by F-One Sport and offers six distances, from a 12 km introduction to a 162 km course with a 55 hour cut-off.

The 100 km runs from Senaru to the summit, and the 60 km also follows the Senaru route. The 36 km comes with two start options, a day start and a midnight start, and there are shorter races of 27 km and 12 km. Finishers of the 12 km receive a medal but no finisher tee.

Entry rules follow the length. The 162 km asks for a previous Rinjani 100 of 100 km or more, or another ultra trail of at least 100 km. The 100 km asks for a Rinjani 100 finish at 60 or 75 km, an ultra trail of at least 50 km, or a full distance triathlon. The 60 km asks for a trail race of at least 21 km or a road marathon. The 36, 27 and 12 km have no qualification, but the organiser strongly advises physical and mental preparation. Participants must be 18 or older on race day, or bring a guardian's permission and a supervisor at the venue.

The organiser calls Mount Rinjani a very tough route, with sandy and rocky sections leading up to the summit, and describes the 162 km as maybe one of the toughest 100 milers in the world. Runners on every distance are told to prepare physically and psychologically and to learn about the challenges of trail running.

On Livebib you can follow a participant who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, and the official results come from the Rinjani 100 organisation.
