Maratón Powerade Monterrey, live.

A December marathon from Parque Fundidora

The Maratón Powerade Monterrey is a single 42.195 km road race that starts and finishes in Parque Fundidora on Sunday 13 December 2026.

The Maratón Powerade Monterrey is organised by the Asociación de Clubes de Corredores del Estado de Nuevo León together with Arca Continental, and the organiser marks 20 years of the race. The 2026 edition is on Sunday 13 December, with one gun at 6:45 in the morning and start and finish in Parque Fundidora.

There is only one distance, the full 42.195 km. The course is certified by AIMS and World Athletics and counts as a Boston Marathon qualifier. Participants are placed in four start corrals according to the finishing time they report at entry. Field size is capped at 10,000 and entries for 2026 are already sold out.

The time limit is six hours and 30 minutes. There are intermediate cut-offs at 21.1 km, three hours and 15 minutes after the gun, and at km 30, five hours after the gun, with transport to the finish for anyone stopped there. Splits are taken at km 5, 10, 15, 21.1, 25, 30 and 35. The course records the organiser lists are 2:08:48 for men and 2:30:05 for women.

Bib and chip pickup is at CINTERMEX on Friday 11 December and Saturday 12 December, and the carbohydrate dinner is on the Saturday evening from 19:00. Spectators can cheer along the route, and the organiser runs a contest for cheering groups placed beside the course, with costumes, sound systems and chants encouraged. Results are published on Wednesday 16 December.

On Livebib you can follow a participant who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, so the dot on the map is only as good as that phone and its signal. The official results and splits come from the organiser of the Maratón Powerade Monterrey.
