Midnattsloppet 10 km
Stockholm’s iconic night race transforms the southern borough of Södermalm into an electric carnival of music, light and community running. Starting beside Zinkensdamm on Ringvägen, the 10-kilometre course winds through buzzing street corridors, accompanied by samba rhythms, cheering crowds and glowing light installations. The defining crux of the race arrives near kilometer 4.3: the lung-busting climb up Sofia Kyrkbacke, scaling 46 metres above sea level to the highest point of the route beside Sofia Church.
After conquering Sofia Kyrkbacke and the rolling streets past Vitabergsparken, runners navigate the festive descent toward the roaring finish corridor on Hornsgatan.
