Lamoura to Les Rousses, Haut-Jura · February 13, 2027

A new 50 km line from Lamoura to Les Rousses

La Transjurassienne is France's biggest cross-country ski race, and from 2027 it runs on a 50 km reference course between Lamoura and Les Rousses.

The organiser describes La Transjurassienne as the largest cross-country ski race in France since 1979. Snow has been the problem in recent winters. Between 2016 and 2026 there were 11 editions, the historic Lamoura to Mouthe line was skied only once, six editions used an adapted course and four were cancelled. For 2027 the race moves to the heart of the Haut-Jura, where the snow is more reliable.

The weekend is 13 and 14 February 2027. Saturday is the classic day, with the Classic 50 km at 09:00 and the Classic 25 km at 11:00. On Sunday the Transjurassienne itself starts at 09:00 over 50 km in free technique, followed by the Skating 25 km at 11:00. Every race starts in Lamoura and finishes in Les Rousses.

The 50 km courses climb 760 m and the 25 km courses 410 m. That is a real day out on the long distance, but the 25 km races and the recreational rando formats make the weekend open to skiers who are newer to long races.

Spectators will find the finish in Les Rousses the best place to see the whole field arrive, and the two start times each day mean the 50 km and 25 km skiers come in at different hours. Check the organiser's information for access and parking in the resort.

On Livebib you can follow a skier who chooses to share their own live position from the phone they carry. This is not the organiser's timing, and the official results come from La Transju'.
