A technical swimrun around Lake Immeln

Immeln Swimrun gathers at the race arena by Immelns Badhamn on Saturday 14 August 2027, with three courses through the forest and water around Lake Immeln in northeast Skåne.

Immeln Swimrun is organised by ATOBE, and its three courses were drawn up with local swimrunners and mapmakers to show the best of the nature around Lake Immeln. The race arena at Immelns Badhamn holds the start, the finish and the race pack pickup, and the 2027 edition is part of the MySwimrun Championships series.

The Long Distance is 30 km in total, with 5.5 km of swimming and 24.2 km of running over 37 stages. The Middle Distance is about 16 km with 3 km of swimming and 13 km of running over 23 stages. The Sprint is about 7 km with 1 km in the water and 6 km on land over 11 stages, and its longest swim is 270 m. All three are open to solo racers and teams. A short kids swimrun of 500 m running and 60 m swimming runs at the arena in the morning.

This is a technical swimrun with many stages and quick changes in and out of the water. The ground goes from small gravel roads to mossy forest floor, with natural passages straight through the woods, and past participants remember the rocky entries and exits. The Sprint is a fair first race, while the Long suits teams who enjoy constant changes of rhythm.

ATOBE invites families to come along, and the arena by the lake is where to watch starts, finishes and the kids race. Results from 2025 and 2026 are on the organiser's site for anyone who wants a sense of finishing times.

On Livebib you can follow a participant live if they choose to share their own position from the phone they carry during the race. That position comes from the participant, not from the organiser's timing, and the official results are published by ATOBE.
